EBS intel Changes for 4.35

The following changes have been made to EBS intel for 4.35:

  • Microsoft Internet Explorer 11 is no longer supported for EBS intel

    Refer to De-Support Notices for further information

  • Recommended system memory requirements, for allocation to Tomcat servers, are available for EBS intel

    Refer to Software Requirements for further information.

An additional configuration step might be required for new installations of EBS intel if a 'This chart has errors' message is displayed:

  1. Access EBS intel with an account with administrative privileges.

  1. Select the Dashboard Configuration button on the dashboard ribbon.

  1. Select the Settings tab.

  1. Select the Keep Secure check-box for the EBSDB_USERNAME variable, located in the Custom Variables section.

  1. Select Save .

The Waterfall and Horizontal Waterfall chart types can now be selected on the Chart tab in the chart editor.

Help text can now be added to data connections in the chart editor.

They can be defined on the Objects tabs in the Data section of a Data Connections record.

You can now automatically scale a Card chart to fit its cell by selecting the Auto Scale check box. If selected, any sizes (for example: text size) defined will be adjusted proportionally to the chart cell size.
