Support Manager Institution Settings
The institution settings for use in the Support Manager module are configured on the following screens (accessed from the Product Modules pane):
The Support Manager screen (accessed from the Product Modules pane) contains the institution settings for use in Support Manager.
The fields on the Support Manager screen are described in the following table.
Role | Allows users to... |

Restricted UIO search | Whether to restrict the initial primary UIO search on the Learners tab in Fund Manager to only search on courses which the selected learner has active applications and/or enrolments. |
Exclude Expected End Date when using Planned support | Whether to exclude the expected end date when using planned support. This is set to N by default. |
Overwrite Existing manually created records which clash | Whether to overwrite existing manually created records which clash. This is set to N by default. |
Restrict Update ILR records | Whether to restrict users from using the Update ILR button in the Support Manager component. |
Plans to use in the Update ILR process | Whether to use planned support, delivered support or both in the Update ILR process. Select from the drop-down list. |
The ILR screen (accessed from the Product Modules pane) contains the ALS Costs institution setting, which determines where the values used in the Support Manager ILR update process are derived from.
Select from the following:
- Planned – planned support records
- Delivered – delivered support records
