The ebs product suite consists of the following applications, which are all based on the Microsoft .Net Framework:
- ebs: ontrack Hub - an HTML 5 website for employers and staff members
- ebs: central - a client-based application containing the core ebs modules (for example: ILR, LLWR, Curriculum, and Enrolments)
- ebs: shape - a client-based application enabling you to manage the timetables and registers process
- ebs: ontrack Learner Hub - an HTML 5 website that provides access to an institution’s online enquiry, application and enrolment process
- ebs: intel - an HTML 5 website that provides real-time access to business intelligence (BI) data
Note: Further technical documentation (for example: technical guides and the Data Dictionary) is available on the ebs Communities website.
The following applications access a core set of components that are used throughout ebs:
- ebs: one Web Services - Representational State Transfer (REST) architecture
- ebs: one Workflow - Microsoft Windows service
- ebs: central Reporting - Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
All ebs applications require access to a production database where live data can be accessed and stored. A test database is recommended.
