Audit an IDP

You can review audit information to gain clear visibility of key actions over time. Use the audit history, read report, and communications log to track activity.

Audit history

Use the audit history tab to see key actions recorded for a learner over time.

To view the audit history:

  1. Open the learner’s IDP.

  2. Select the Audit history tab.

The audit history includes these columns:

  • Date - when the action took place.

  • Actioned by - the user who performed the action.

  • Action - the activity carried out.

The audit history records the following learner actions:

  • Created

  • Updated

  • Submitted

  • Ceased

  • Paused

Read report

Use the read report tab to see when an IDP has been viewed and how often.

To view the read report:

  1. Open the learner’s IDP.

  2. Select the Read report tab.

The Read report includes these details:

  • First read - the date and time the IDP was first viewed.

  • Last read - the date and time the IDP was most recently viewed.

  • Read by - the full name of the user who viewed the IDP.

  • Total reads - the number of times the IDP has been viewed by that user.

Communications log

Use the communications log tab to view all communications sent to a learner for a specific IDP.

To view the communications log:

  1. Open the learner’s IDP.

  2. Select the Communications log tab.

  3. Select a log entry to expand it and view the message body sent to the learner.

The Communications log includes these details:

  • Date/Time - when the communication was created.

  • Type - the communication type, that is email, letter, or SMS.

  • From - the user who created the communication.

  • To - the recipient.

  • Subject - the subject of the communication template.
