Use the eSRF Tab

The eSRF tab enables you to review unit outcome grades and submit them to the relevant claiming exam entry and advance the status of the relevant unit outcome to the outcome status set in the Default Outcome Confirmed Status institution setting on the Awards screen. The default status is 'Checked'.

Note: You must have the Markbook User role assigned in User Roles in ebs: ontrack Teaching and Learning and a staff link to a program year UIO which has a type of Exams Sync for the eSRF tab to be displayed.

You can also bulk update outcomes in the Outcomes grid in ebs: central.

  1. If required, select a different academic period from the relevant field.

    Note: The Academic Period field is automatically populated with the current academic year when the eSRF tab is opened.

  2. In the Subject field, select the required subject.

    Note: The subjects listed depend on whether the staff member is set as a Course Tutor or Lead Tutor for the UIO.

    A list of all the current unit outcome grades for all learners who are enrolled on units on that subject is displayed.

    Note: You can choose to submit unit outcomes individually and return at a later date to submit further unit outcome results to synchronise with the claiming exam.

  3. When you have reviewed the unit outcome grades, select the Results Verified check box at the bottom of the window.

  4. In the Manager's Signature field, enter your name to indicate you accept the results.

  5. Click the Submit button.

    A message is displayed confirming the eSRF has been submitted.

    When the eSRF is submitted, the following information is updated:

    • The 1st Grade field on the Child Exam Entries screen shows the learner's submitted grade for the relevant claiming exam in Exams Manager.

      Note: The result can then be passed to the relevant exam board.

    • The Status field for learners on the Academic History tab in Enrolments is advanced to the outcome status set in the Default Outcome Confirmed Status institution setting on the Awards screen in ebs: central.
