HESA student return

EBS supports the HESA (Higher Education Statistics Agency) student return and graduate outcomes. HESA is the UK’s specialist authority on higher education data and operates as part of Jisc. Its core role is to collect, quality‑assure, and publish data about higher education providers across the four nations of the UK.

HESA carries out this work on behalf of its Statutory Customers, acting as the trusted source of national higher education data and analysis. This position enables HESA to support sector-wide decision‑making and contribute to the competitiveness of UK higher education.

To achieve this, HESA collaborates with higher education providers to gather and curate one of the world’s leading data resources for the sector. This expertise allows HESA to offer a comprehensive and openly available evidence base for organisations and individuals who use higher education data.
