Destination and Progression Outcome Type Other (Local)

The outcome types for other outcomes that aren’t referenced in the other destination and progression outcome reference data which the college defines and collects from its learner population is entered here and mapped onto the ILR DPOutcomeType Other codes, for each Funding Year. This enables the same local code to be kept across years, even though the ILR codes linked to them can change year on year.

This enables the college to use its own local coding structure for internal college management information, while still supplying the required codes to the ILR.

Note: The mappings between local and ILR codes are essential, and must be made, even where the two coding frames used are identical.

The mapping is performed manually by opening the Yearly Values screen which can be opened by clicking the Yearly Values button on the ribbon.
