Validation Rules
The following rules apply when managing validation documents for a learner:
- Verification fields that have previously been validated by the addition of a document at Level 2 are not changed by uploading a Level 1 document (that is: adding documents will not lower the level from 2 to 1). However, users with the Enrolment Super User role can lower the level by deleting a document.

The births/deaths/marriage (BDM) values available in the Name Verification, Residential Verification and Alt. Name Verification fields on the Learner Details screen can only be populated by the NSI process. Manually entering the BDM value into any of these fields prompt an error message similar to the following.
