How to upload an ID photo

You can use the upload photo screen to add a photo to your profile. You can upload an image stored on your computer or take a photo using a connected HTML5 web camera.

Your institution may not have a licence for this feature. If the feature is inactive, attempts to upload an image will result in an error after you submit the upload.

Upload an ID photo as follows:

  1. From the User menu, select Upload photo.

  2. Select Choose file.

  3. Find the image you want to upload and select Open.

  4. Use the image‑editing tools to adjust the photo if needed.

  5. Select Save to add the image to the learner’s details page.

Take a photo using a web camera

  1. Select Start camera. A live preview from your camera appears below the buttons.

  2. If prompted, grant your web browser permission to let Ontrack Learner Hub access your camera.

  3. Position the learner, then select Take photo.

  4. If the photo is not suitable, select Take photo again to replace it.

  5. Select Stop camera to turn off the camera preview.

  6. Use the image‑editing tools to adjust the photo if needed.

  7. Select Save to add the image to the learner’s details page.
