ebs: intel Changes for 4.30
The following key product changes have been made to ebs: intel.

For ebs customers using a standalone version of PanIntelligence pi, please ensure that you migrate to the integrated ebs: intel module as part of your 4.30 upgrade plans. This will ensure that as well as moving to a supported version of this software, you will be able to embed ebs: intel charts into ebs: ontrack Hub.
To migrate to ebs: intel:
- Install the latest version of ebs: intel.
- Open admin.exe from the newly installed version (located in the PortSelector folder).
-
Copy the following files from the existing (that is: non-ebs) installer:
- dashboard.data
- dashboard.lck
- dashboard
- dashboard.properties
- dashboard.script
These files are normally located in the following folder: D:\Program Files (x86)\Dashboard\Dashboard\data.
- Paste these files over the ones in the newly installed version of ebs: intel.
- Open admin.exe in the newly installed version and click the Start button. This upgrades the data to the latest version of ebs: intel.
- Open admin.exe in the old version and stop the services.
-
Create an ebsintegrationadmin user in Panintelligence pi and store the password in the BI integration user password field in Institution Settings (in the Business Intelligence screen).
This ensures that the embedding of ebs: intel charts functions correctly in the ebs: ontrack software.
You must also update the BI admin password institution setting if it is different to the password for the standalone version.

Users can now be added as Lite users, which provides the user with a limited view of ebs: intel.
The maximum number of Lite users is dependent on the licence key.
To create a Lite user:
- Add or edit the relevant user in the Users screen.
-
Select Chart Viewer (V) from the User Type drop-down list.
The Lite check box is then displayed under the User Type field.
- Select the Lite check box.
- Enter or edit any other user details as necessary.
-
Click Save.
The Lite user's username is displayed in the left hand panel and appended with Lite and the number of charts that they can access in brackets. The number of Lite users in the Users Summary is also updated.
