ontrack Changes for 4.35
The following changes have been made to ontrack products for 4.35:
General

The new Tribal ILP module has been added. Refer to ILP Changes for 4.35 for further information.

Headers in ebs: ontrack Hub and ebs: ontrack Learner Hub have now been resized to avoid header wrapping.

The Show Ontrack icon on Home ribbon institution setting has been added to the Ontrack screen.
This setting is hidden for cloud systems and is set to 'N'.
This allows you to specify whether the ontrack button is displayed on the ebs ribbon in ebs: central. The setting defaults to 'Y'.

Session timeouts and warnings have now been added to ebs: ontrack Hub and ebs: ontrack Learner Hub.
These are configured in web.config settings as follows by default, and can be configured differently for each software:

The settings are encrypted by default and require decrypting before being able to be edited. Refer to How to decrypt ebs web.config files on the Communities site for further information.
Designer

Pages are no longer blocked from being imported if there are other pages that are unsaved or checked out/in testing. A warning is now displayed instead on the Import Screen window. The Do not check release version check box has also been added, which allows you to specify whether to select imports of pages from different versions. This is deselected by default.

Users can now insert radio buttons into the ontrack software using ebs: ontrack Hub Designer and ebs: ontrack Learner Hub Designer.
To configure a radio button, the following are required:

A data link is required to be created on the page which includes the data that you want to select from. Refer to Add data links for further information

A column with a Data type of the specified data link, and a Type of 'RadioButton' is also required.
The Is Static Text check box must be deselected for the Data field to be displayed.
Any verifiers or any code that generates as a list can be used.
An example datalink for a radio button is displayed in the following image.

The Angular control can now be added in ebs: ontrack Prospect Designer by selecting Add Angular from the Add Control drop-down on the System Configuration Commands ribbon.

You can now choose from the following Angular applications in ebs: ontrack Prospect Designer:
- ILP User Management
- ILP Learner
- ILP Tutor

The following services can now be selected for a control in the Services drop-down field in the Control Details section:

Additionally, ILRDetails has been added to Create People and Update People, and TutorGroups has been added to Create Enrolments and Update Enrolments.
ebs: ontrack Hub

The following changes have been made to the Reports List screen:

The visibility of reports is now controlled by the Report visible? check box in the Reports Cradle

The tooltips on report links are populated with the Report Description, as defined in the Reports Cradle
-
The tooltips on folder names are populated with the Hover Description, as defined in the Reports Cradle

A new Schedules screen has been added for users with the Create Schedules role. The Schedules screen displays all the user's report schedules, with the report name, frequency, start date, next scheduled run date, and format displayed. The user's schedules are displayed in the My Schedules section.
Users with the Report Administrator role can view all scheduled reports.
It can be accessed by clicking the Schedules option in the left-hand panel when the Reports screen is open.
Schedules functionality allows you to:

Create a schedule on the Reports page, accessed from the Reports option in the menu

Delete, disable or enable schedules
-
Edit existing schedules

The following changes have been made to Markbook:
-
The subject and unit names are now displayed in the grid panel.
In mobile view, only the unit name is displayed.

Marks are now validated on entry. Invalid entries are marked with a red border and a tooltip is displayed with the verification rule on hovering over the field.

Users who have already had their results verified can now add new enrolments results and submit them for verification.

The Academic Period drop-down is now displayed in reverse chronological order (that is: the most recent year is displayed first) and the current academic year is selected by default.

The left-hand grid column is now frozen in place when scrolling horizontally in the markbook grid.

The Course Grade field has been renamed to 'Course Predicted Grade' and the Grade for Unit field has been added to the grid
-
The 'alis' field has been removed from the right-hand panel.

You can now use the Assessments screen (accessed by selecting the relevant Person Code on the Markbook screen) to view a learner's course, grades and progress in Markbook.

You can use the Markbook Verification screen to verify individual grades for subjects with multiple units to mark.

ebs: ontrack Learner Hub

The Assessments tile is no longer displayed on the home page if the learner does not have any assessments available to them.
Progress bars are now displayed on the Assessments screen.
The calculation for marking progress is accurate including

A blue bar represents no marking has been completed
-
A green bar represents all marking has been completed
-
A yellow bar represents 50% or more has been completed

The Accessibility Statement for ebs: ontrack Learner Hub has been updated for 4.35.

When a learner enrols via ebs: ontrack Learner Hub, the Send Enrolment Confirmation Email workflow now saves the report sent to the learner in the Reports History window and in Communication Logs, provided the 'Save report after running?' check box is selected for the report.
ebs: ontrack Teaching and Learning - Service Pack 1

The My Quick Links and Daily News Bulletin pods have been removed from the home page.
The corresponding Dashboard Settings have also been removed, and the 'News and Events' section has been renamed to 'Events'.
