The ebs: shape application provides a Find Free Staff and Find Free Room option to enable you to quickly find available staff and rooms from the File menu when timetabling.
Using the timetabling functionality enables you to:
Find a free member of staff
To find a free member of staff:

Select Staff Member from the Find Free drop-down in the File menu.
The Staff Search window is displayed.

Use the staff search filters to find an available staff member.
Note: Selecting the Apply Values check box against the Timing section enables you to filter staff based on specific timings. Selecting the Apply Values check box against the Statistics section enables you to filter staff based on timetable statistics.
Selecting a staff member from the results list will display a new event, with the chosen staff member added, in a new tab so that you can use this option to respond to requests without losing whatever you were doing beforehand.
Find a free room
To find free rooms:

Select Room from the Find Free drop-down in the File menu.
The Room Search window is displayed.

Use the room search filters to find an available room.
