General Changes for 4.38
The following general changes have been made for the 4.38 release:
Ability to use Google Workspace and OIDC Authentication to access ebs
You can now use Google Workspace and OpenID Connect (OIDC) authentication to enable your users to access ebs modules (for example: ebs: central or ebs: shape).
You can now use the following settings:

Refer to ebs Client Authentication for Microsoft Entra ID and Google Workspace for further information.
Licence changes
The following licences have been added.

Password resets audited
Password resets and reset requests are now audited to give full traceability around user account activity. They are stored in the AUDIT_ACCESS table.
Institution setting changes
The following institution settings have been added.

Allow Self-Attendance | Whether to enable learners to mark themselves as present for register events. |
| Pre-event generation allowance (minutes) | How early a tutor can generate a PIN before the register event starts. | |
| PIN acceptance timeframe (minutes) |
The time in minutes that a PIN is accepted so that a learner is marked as present, rather than late. This defaults to 15 minutes. |

| Percentage of learners to validate | The percentage of learners to validate as present in the register event. For example: if this is set to 10 (that is: 10%), for a class of 100 learners, when the tutor submits the marks, the system randomly selects ten learners for the tutor to confirm that the learners attended. | |
| Validate empty marks | Whether to notify the tutor if there is no mark recorded against any learners. | |
| Self-Attendance present mark | The register mark to use if a self-attending learner is present. | |
| Self-Attendance late mark | The register mark to use if a self-attending learner is late. | |
| Exams | Enable A2C Exam | Whether to enable or disable A2C functionality. |
| Identity Server | The Client Secret to use when logging into ebs Central with Identity Server | The client secret used when using Google Workspace and OpenID Connect (OIDC) authentication. |
The Web service authentication mode institution setting has also been moved from the SMS screen to the Ontrack screen.
Roles changes
The ebs: ontrack secondary roles group has been added to User Management.
The following roles have been added.

Reference data changes
The following changes have been made to reference data:

The Interview Cancel Reason reference data screen has been added, which allows you to define the reasons for applicants to select from when cancelling an interview

The INTERVIEW_CANCELLED record has been added to E-Mail Templates reference data, which allows you to edit the confirmation email that is sent to applicants on cancelling an interview

The 'Cancelled' status field has been added to the Interview Status screen

The ILP field has been added to the Person Functions screen
