ontrack Changes for 4.44
The following changes have been made for 4.44:
-
To fully comply with GDPR a new privacy policy page has been added to the profile menu.
Learner Hub
-
We have updated the layout of the homepage to make it easier for learners to find the information they need. As part of this update we have also improved the way the homepage works with mobile devices.
This updates includes the addition of an improved calendar control to make it easier to navigate calendar items and the removal of unused blocks. -
The enrolment flow now includes a page to allow learners to upload evidence to support their application. The document types supported will default to the enrolment document types.
-
There have been a number of updates to Interviews. They have been removed from the next steps box and are now on their own page. If an applicant cancels an interview, they are now prompted to give a reason for the cancellation.
-
Applicants now have the option to self withdraw their application. This is done from the Applications page and is only possible for active applications. A new institution setting Progress Code for Self-Withdrawn Application has been added to define the progress code that's used in these situations (only application progress type of "W" will be available in this dropdown list).
-
To make navigation easier for users using screen readers we have updated the naming of the secondary navigation labels.
-
The Next Steps block has been updated so that it only shows incomplete applications and enrolments.
Staff Hub
-
The search in ontrack has been improved. When searching for names or address which contain accents, the search will return these results, even if the search did not contain the accents.
eg. Searching for Renee, will return results including Renée -
Tutors can now upload evidence for a learner to support their application. This functionality has been added to the Application Overview screen within My Courses.
Contact Hub
Parent Hub has been replaced with Contact Hub. When a contact logs into ontrack they are taken to Contact Hub where they can see information about any learners they are linked to.
Once a learner is selected the contact is taken to a homepage. This homepage contains some key information about the learner, as well as links to other screens.
