Absence reporting Changes for 4.45
In 4.45 the Absence Reporting module (for both Learners and Staff) has been re-written in updated technology to give better performance and visibility on mobile devices.
As well as preserving all existing functionality, the following changes have been made in 4.45:
- Users can update or cancel an upcoming absence.
Absences can be changed up until the first day of the absence
- Evidence can now be associated with a specific absence record, rather than being generically stored against the learner record.

Users submitting an absence will be able to view which scheduled sessions will be missed during the absence period.
